The University of Michigan’s consumer survey center has questioned across 500 different households each month of their financial conditions and attitudes about economy.
Consumer sentiment is directly related to the strength of consumers spending; consumer’s confidence and consumer sentiments are two ways of talking about consumers attitudes.
Consumer Sentiment Data Impact on Commodity market
If consumer sentiment index is positive then previous no’s, it is good for the base metal and crude oil while negative for bullions, moreover if data index is negative then it is negative for base metal, crude and positive for bullion
